About Caydance

I’m currently a microbiology student with a minor in nutrition, following a pre-PA track fueled by a genuine love for science and understanding how the body works. My studies have given me a strong foundation in the biological side of health, while my nutrition coursework has helped me see how everyday habits — especially diet — play a huge role in overall well-being. I’ve always been fascinated by the connection between what’s happening at the microscopic level and how we actually feel day to day.

My interest in nutrition and hormone health is both academic and personal. As someone living with PCOS, I’ve become deeply curious about how hormones, metabolism, and diet interact. That experience really pushed me to dig into the research and look for realistic, evidence-based ways to support health rather than quick fixes. I’m especially drawn to a more holistic view of health — one that respects both clinical science and lifestyle factors like nutrition, stress, and movement.

Alongside school, I’ve worked as a Certified Medical Assistant, which has given me valuable hands-on experience in patient care. Being in a clinical setting has strengthened my communication skills and reinforced my passion for helping people feel informed and supported. As a future PA, I hope to blend my science background, clinical experience, and passion for education to help others better understand their bodies — particularly when it comes to hormone health and nutrition.
